Good Friday

March 29th, 2013: Good Friday. This day, we think about Jesus who gave His life on the cross for us. Who wanted to die so our sins could be forgiven. With this in our mind, we organized a special T(h)ree meeting on Thursday: we invited lots and lots of people. To make sure people knew there was something coming up we put posters all around the school. We also posted an invitation on Facebook which was very well received. 

Finally, the day had come. We had been counting down and we were very excited about what the Holy Spirit was going to do! 

The great news is that there were people coming, all having their own beliefs and we were able to talk to them about Christianity and what makes it so special.

For example, what means Eastern to you? Do you know what it means? Do you know that Jesus died on the cross, not just to obey his Father but to sacrifice Himself for us? Out of pure love, He gave his life to set us free.

We had an amazing hour and we hope the people who were there also did. We hope to see you next time and if you weren't there: don't hesitate to come! We want to talk about our faith and there's also room to talk about your own beliefs: you're welcome to ask questions! We'll let you know when the next T(h)ree meeting is!

We are pleased you take a minute to take a look at our blog! Let us tell you something about T(h)ree. We are six students from the Rotterdam University and we noticed that there's no much room for Jesus at school. There are many people who don't know anything or less about faith and a lot of people are actually looking for something, but they don't know what they're looking for. We felt that we had to take action.

We want to share the good news with you. You might be asking: the good news? What do you mean? Well, did you know that there is actually somebody who wanted to die for you? Who rose from the dead because He wants you to be held from death? Jesus wants to give you life, eternal life!

  

At the moment, we are busy organizing a public meeting and we want to invite you to join us. Maybe to ask a question that has been bothering you for long, maybe to talk with others about your questions and/or experiences or maybe just to listen. Stay tuned!
